Under the patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mr. Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq, the workshop was launched to discuss the national strategy for bank lending 2024-2029, in cooperation with the German GIZ organization and in the presence of the Association of Private Banks and Financial Institutions.

The Iraqi Company for Financing Small and Medium Enterprises participated in the workshop, along with banking institutions and supporting bodies, where the importance of expanding financing opportunities, especially for small and medium enterprises, and providing practical solutions to the challenges facing the sector was emphasized.

We appreciate the efforts of the Central Bank of Iraq and GIZ in strengthening the lending environment and developing policies that support sustainable economic growth in Iraq, and we renew our commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance financial inclusion and empower entrepreneurs.
