Within the “Finance Bridge” program, which aims to support and empower women who own small businesses in the governorates of Baghdad, Nineveh, and Basra, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Iraqi Company for Financing Small and Medium Enterprises and the Shido Organization.

This cooperation comes within the framework of enhancing access to financing, by supporting beneficiaries in understanding financing requirements and preparing their applications more efficiently, which contributes to increasing their readiness to apply and obtain financing.

The contribution of the Iraqi Company for Financing Small and Medium Enterprises is represented by being the financing body, in accordance with its approved policies and procedures, by receiving and studying financing applications submitted within the program, in line with the controls and instructions in force and ensuring the integrity of credit procedures and protecting the company’s rights.

Meanwhile, the Shedo organization provides guidance support and capacity building to women owners of small projects, in a way that enhances their financing readiness and supports opportunities for the growth and sustainability of their projects.
